How This Chore Wheel Works
This tool randomly assigns tasks to people. You add two separate lists: the people who need to do the tasks, and the tasks that need to be done. Click Assign Tasks and the algorithm shuffles both lists and pairs each task to a person randomly.
If there are more tasks than people, some people will receive more than one assignment. If there are more people than tasks, some people will not receive an assignment this round. This makes it flexible for any real-world situation where the number of tasks and people does not perfectly match.
Every assignment is impartial. Nobody can be accused of favouritism or always giving the easy jobs to certain people. The result is fair by design.
